Year 6,
It has been a busy week and you have worked incredibly hard. I know I have had you completing a lot of writing, but hopefully you have enjoyed the majority of it. You have written non-chronological reports on 'Life on the Home Front' and have written autobiographies - both of which are brilliant. You have also begun your design and technology topic - combining fabrics, by investigating current products and reminding yourselves of what you have previously learnt. You have also begun discussing The Apprentice, and found out your roles in the Year 6 production and received your scripts. We have had our first read through but now it is all about you learning your lines!
Next week we will be having quite a week. We will be visiting Duxford museum on Wednesday and GoApe on Friday. In between those, you will be writing a narrative inspired by some pictures but planned by you. You will also have some time to design your products in design and technology.
Home learning:
Your home learning this week is to continue to learn your lines for the production and continue to discuss your options for The Apprentice.
Below are the links to the two videos you could base your narrative off of if you have chosen to do this instead of using one of the pictures. Please think carefully about what will happen in your story. Remember that it will be in 3rd Person.
If I have not yet received your medical form for PGL please ensure you bring it in on Monday. I do not need the form for specific medicines until the day when your adults will give it to me with the actual medicine.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs Cresswell 😊
