 Fifth (SATs) Week Back: Completed

Half Term Project – My 1, 5 and 10 Year Plan -  Due Friday 22nd May

Due to a timetabling error on my part, the date for the half-term project has been brought forward to this Friday. I have already spoken to the class about expectations so please remind the children that they can either present using the computer, a poster or orally.

For this half-term project, we are going to be exploring life after Little Heath Primary School. In class we have started thinking about what we would like to do in the future, from achieving targets by July to life in our 20s. I would like the children to create a three-part presentation which explains their goals for a year from now, five years from now and ten years from now. They can consider potential learning targets, new behaviours, hobbies and even careers. It is important that the children research what each goal or target entails (qualifications, personal attributes, time spent to achieve, cost implications, etc.). Each presentation should be no more than 2-3 minutes so please don’t worry about preparing mountains of information. Remember that this is all about the children considering and understanding what they need to do to reach their own aims.

We will be presenting our plans this week.

 Third Week Back: Completed

Quiz Night Saturday 9th May

Get your thinking caps ready for our PTA Quiz Night on Saturday 9th May 2026! It promises to be a fantastic evening of fun, laughter and a little bit of healthy rivalry. I will be taking on the very important role of Quiz Master. It would be brilliant to see as many of you there as possible—whether you're in it to win it or just in it for the laughs!

Swimming

During this half-term we will be enjoying our very own pool! The children will be swimming on different days so please ensure that swimming costumes, towels and any other important items (swimming caps, etc.) are packed and ready to go. The children should know which day of the week they are swimming each week but please remind your child to bring in their kits.
