The highlight of this week was the trip to Sky Studios.
This is a breakdown of what the children did on the afternoon,
Produce Media Content: Students work in small production teams
to script, direct, edit, and star in their own short video segment or news
report using professional studio technology.
Take on Studio Roles: Children take
on specific television and film job roles—such as director, presenter, camera
operator, scriptwriter, and video editor.
Use Studio Technology: They work with
digital equipment, green screens, teleprompters, and digital editing software
to bring their ideas to life.
Tour Behind the Scenes: Groups receive
a guided tour of the Sky facilities, learning about the television and film
industry and exploring real broadcast environments.
Watch Their Finished Work: At the end of
the session, students gather in a viewing room to watch their completed
production together and take home a copy of their video.

A
Stellar Week of Sport!
We have enjoyed some fantastic
sporting achievements this week, beginning with a triumphant performance in
basketball on Monday. Year 6 were crowned champions after winning every single
game and maintaining an incredible record—never conceding a single point!
The momentum continued into
Thursday with strong performances in football, and our fingers are firmly
crossed for more victories on the pitch this evening.
